ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. -- Tim Tebow has been immortalized with murals, paintings and bronze statues.

But you won't find anything like that at the school where Tebow first made a name for himself and won a state championship.

Nease High School in St. Johns County does not have any signs or a billboard saying "Home of Tim Tebow."

"The students still know about Tim Tebow," says former Nease teammate and current assistant football coach Manny Wellington.

"Just to see him quiet his doubters and see the hard work he put in here each week, it's great to see," says Wellington.

Nease hasn't even retired Tebow's #5 jersey.

"There's really no secret against it, I just don't think it's his style," says Nease Athletic Director Ted Barbato.

Barbato says you kind find most the school's Tebow pictures in the weight room.

The school does have a sign honoring Tebow's Heisman trophy on the scoreboard at the football field.

Nease says it plans to add another Tebow tribute on the campus.

This year, Tebow purchased enough Gator Bowl tickets so this year's entire Nease football team could attend.
