JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Temperatures on this Wednesday are 10 to 20 degrees cooler during the day than yesterday. This downward trend in temps will continue through the upcoming weekend.

The next drop in degrees occurs late tomorrow (Thursday) after highs in the upper 60s. After sunset, temperatures will drop into the 40s and settle into the upper 30s come Friday morning.

Winds will accompany the next front. We'll see westerly winds peak at 15-25 mph on Thursday before dying down at night.

The next front enters the picture on Friday, and the cool-down just continues through the weekend. It will also be breezy with the weekend front.

Temperatures will be cold enough for a FREEZE inland on Sunday morning. The best chance for a freeze in the Jacksonville Metro Area (and inland again) is Monday morning.

We may be headed into March, but Old Man Winter is making a comeback.
