CLAY COUNTY, Fla. -- Four suspects, including a teenager, who are charged in the murder of a Clay County detective were expected in court this morning.

Only one, Jennifer Alder actually appeared before a judge. The other three suspects, Chasity Prescott, Ryan Wilder, and 16-year-old Jerry Daniels, all waived their right to appear.

The four are charged in the death of Clay County Detective David White, who was shot during a home meth lab investigation in February 2012. Detective White and his partner got into a shootout with a 5th suspect, who was killed at the scene.

The State Attorneys Office charged the four defendants with murder. Prosecutors say they were in the act of committing a felony when Detective White was shot and killed. Under Florida law, they can be charged in his death.

Detective White's partner Matt Hanlin was also shot, but survived.

The next pre-trial hearing for all four suspects is March 14th.
