LAKE CITY, Fla. -- A woman is in jail after she confessed to leaving a note threatening to blow up a Lake City hospital.

Police say on Monday night 22-year-old Nicole Bringman walked in and dropped off a note to the Mercy Medical Center that read, "everyone must die to pay the price so I going to blow it all up."

Thursday afternoon, Bringman called the Lake City Police Department and confessed to leaving the note, saying she felt guilty about doing it.

In a full confession, she told police that she wanted, "to blow up the town from the sinful people."

Police say she did not bring any devices onto the property of the hospital and was not a patient there either.

"It was good to get this incident resolved quickly," said Lake City Police Chief Argatha Gilmore. "We did not want our citizens fearful of another possible bomb threat by an unknown suspect.

Bringman was arrested and placed on a $10,000 bond.
