JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Police are looking for a gunman who fired shots at a woman driving on Jacksonville's Northside.

The woman told JSO she was driving westbound in the 1700 block of McQuade Street at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday when someone driving in the opposite direction slowed down and fired gunshots into her vehicle. The woman wasn't struck by bullets, but she backed her car into a JEA utility pole which knocked out power to a few square blocks for almost an hour.

The woman suffered minor injuries in the crash, but was able to run to a nearby church to call police. JSO detectives say they are trying to figure who fired upon the woman and why.
