JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A teen has been arrested after a woman was killed in a hit-and-run crash in front of a church in Northwest Jacksonville.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said a car with three teenagers inside lost control and hit a car leaving the parking lot of the Zion Hope Missionary Baptist Church on Edgewood Avenue on Tuesday.

The driver of the car leaving the church, Mavis Y. Tutson, 78, was killed.

Two teens fled the car. Police detained the driver and one passenger. Police are still looking for a second passenger.

On Wednesday afternoon, a 15-year-old boy was arrested for leaving the scene of an accident involving death and driving without a license causing death.

Action News is not naming the teen.
