Woman missing from Lake City
LAKE CITY, Fla. -- Police are looking for a woman who walked away from her home 11 days ago and hasn't been seen since.
Betty Ann Hicks, 49, hasn't been seen since the morning of Jan. 5 when she left her home on Southeast Waldron Terrace. Her sister told police she had unconfirmed reports that Hicks was seen near U.S. 129 and I-75, walking north.
Authorities say she may be headed to Alabama. That's where police located her the last time she disappeared. Police say she doesn't have a boyfriend or family in the area other than her sister.
