JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A local woman is going to prison for 14 years after pleading guilty in a child sex abuse case.

Patricia Woloszynowski, 63, pleaded guilty today to a charge of child neglect.

Police arrested Woloszynowski in March of 2011 when a 9-year-old girl told police that a sex offender named Robert Goeing Young repeatedly abused her.

Prosecutors said Woloszynowski knew about the abuse and failed to protect the young girl.

"This is the final conviction in an overwhelmingly sad case, " said Assistant State Attorney Alan Mizrahi.  "Despite suffering betrayal, this child is doing amazingly well in her new home."

Four other people have been arrested in the case.  Christopher Perry received six life sentences for his role.  His wife, Mary, received 30 years in prison on charges of child neglect and conspiracy to commit sexual battery.

Young pleaded guilty to molesting the young girl. He is facing life in prison. Michael Halveland is facing up to life in prison for pleading guilty to lewd or lascivious molestation.  Both Young and Halveland will be sentenced next week.
