JACKSONVILLE, Fla -- The heaviest rain and storms have shifted well to the north and well to the south of Jacksonville which will allow the metro area to dry out through the afternoon commute. Rain-cooled temperatures will be offset by high humidity with temperatures this evening in the 70s to around 80 degrees.
Scattered showers and storms will redevelop Friday favoring coastal areas early in the day shifting more inland with time. Highs will range from the mid 80s to around 90 degrees.
