PALM COAST, Fla. -- Flagler County Sheriff's detectives arrested a man today who attempted to rob a gas station on Palm Coast Parkway in December.

William Cory Hall, 35, of Woodbury Drive, was arrested after a traffic stop, shortly after detectives observed him driving away from his home. 

Police say Hall was wanted in connection with a Dec. 20 robbery where he entered the Mobil Station at 220 Palm Coast Parkway about 5:13 a.m. and demanded money from the clerk. According to to the clerk, he demanded money and implied he had a gun. At one point, Hall threatened the clerk by saying, "Don't make me use it."

The clerk refused to hand over any money.
