Younger defendant in Brunswick baby murder seeks trial in juvenile court
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- An attorney for Dominique Lang confirms she will seek to have his murder trial moved to juvenile court.
The 15-year-old Lang is accused of attempting to rob Sherry West along with an older teen, De'Marquise Elkins.
Elkins is serving a life sentence for shooting West's baby, Antonio Santiago, in the face and killing him during the robbery.
Lang testified against Elkins in court, saying Elkins pulled the trigger when West wouldn't hand over money.
A judge will hear arguments on the motion to move the case to juvenile court next week.
