The last part is wrong..she faces 30 YEARS, not days as reported for her pathetic failure to protect her child or seek treatment for him. I'm torn about this. On one hand Cristian had a horrific life but on the other, so did I..yet I haven't murdered anyone. I'm pretty sure though that throwing him in adult jail for the rest of his life isn't the answer. But no matter what, this kid will always need to be watched closely. I believe he is irreparably damaged and a danger to others. It's a really difficult case and I don't envy the judges position. A tragic story all the way around.
