JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Tropical Storm Debby survivors only have a few hours to apply for federal aid to recover any losses.
Assistance is availble to those with damage to their homes, vehicles, or businesses that occured between June 23 and July 26 as a result of the storm.
Survivors are encouraged to apply, even if they've already received help from the Red Cross or local emergency officials.
In addition to FEMA, the Small Business Administration has low-interest loans available to small business owners who suffered loss.
The deadline to apply for both types of assistance is close of business Tuesday.
So far, $16 million has already been given to Florida residents as a result of Tropical Storm Debby.
