JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Holiday travel season kicks off and 84.4 million Americans are expected to hit the roads. But in many parts of the country, the weather may play a factor in holiday travels.

Airports across the country are bracing for big delays, during the busiest travel time of the year, because of this snow storm in the Midwest. It could impact millions of Americans flying and driving for the holidays.

Here are the cancellations were see out of JIA so far. The main delays involve flights out of Atlanta and Chicago. Southwest Airlines has cancelled all Chicago Midway flights in and out until further notice. And United and American Airlines are waiving fees for people who want to change their flight times.
