JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Three local leaders arrested in a nationwide raid on internet cafes.

It centered around a non-profit claiming to raise money for local veterans, but that is not where much of the money ended up.

In all, 19 internet cafes were raided in our area.

Criminal Defense Attorney Janet Johnson joined us in the studio to discuss the potential effect on local veterans and taxpayers.

The impact to local veterans is that now the money being sucked up by this scam may now make it to legitimate organizations. This has actually been going on for over 15 years, it started with Bingo and worked its way up.
