JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- David Caldwell had a busy first day on the job as the Jacksonville Jaguars new general manager. Now Brent Martineau breaks down what's next for the Jags.

After firing head coach Mike Mularkey, Caldwell made bold statements about hometown hero Tim Tebow's future in Jacksonville. And he's not tipping his hand about who may be taking the head coaching job.

Get over the Tim Tebow Thing already. Tebow is a fine young man and one heck of an athelete, but what he is not is an NFL quality quarterback. Would he fill ssome seats and sell some jerseys? Sure for a while, but we need a winning team. I believe that if Tebow would change positions and play tight end or fullback even he could have a very successfull career in the NFL.

Too bad for the Jags. Tebow should be a Jag for several reasons. He has the talent needed as a QB; he would draw fans which means money and above All he is not ashamed for what he stands for and that speaks to character, which is needed and up to this point, none of the aditions to the Jags appear to have much. In my opinion, the coach got a rotten deal too. He wasn't given anyone to play and blamed for their losses.
