JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office dive team is looking for a stolen vehicle that may be under water near the John T. Lowe Boat Ramp near San Jose Boulevard and Baymeadows Road.

Police say a man was putting his boat in the water Thursday morning when he noticed a muddy purse and some other belongings on the shoreline.

Police connected those belongings to a victim who reported the car stolen from a nightclub on Wednesday.

JSO investigators say they don't believe anyone was has been hurt, but they are looking for the stolen vehicle, which may have been dumped into the water.
