Word has come in that this young man has died. Very sad to hear. The pellet gun killed this young man. It just happened to be in the hands of another. Don't even try to tell me that guns don't kill people! That is pure BULL HOCKEY!

I've been up at the hospital with this group and this was a real accident and a very sad tradegy. I know it's easy to judge a situation from the basic story, but this was just sad for all sides. Plus the reason for no charges is it was clear about this being an accidental discharge. Please pray for Charley to pull through and pray for Cory to keep his sanity while he is still sitting with his best friend he accidently put there.

I guess it's true…Guns don't kill or injure. Guns in the hands of stupid people do. Go figure...

At the least they should send both of them to a weapons class. To many people take it for granted that nothing will ever happen. The calles are both informative and useful both for adults and younger people.

so we can go around seriously injuring folks, just so long as we use pellet guns,, and not be charged ??? are you kidding me ??? it doesn't matter if grown men were "playing",, one of them was shot & has a lead slug in his heart(albeit a small lead slug).. the shooter needs to be charged with being really stupid in public at the very least !!!

"accidental" ???? Maybe the result but not the intent? Sometimes you gotta use the three brain cells that survived...
