Humane Society seeking foster families

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Nineteen dogs were rescued Friday in connection with a hoarding case in Jacksonville. Twelve are being treated at the Jacksonville Humane Society.

At least eight have heartworms and all 12 need dental work.

JHS is seeking families to foster the pets while they are recovering from their treatment.

Action News has learned it will take at least two weeks before they are ready for adoption.   JHS sasy there are two Poodles, two Yorkshire Terriers, two Chihuahuas and six Maltese in need of a home.
