Peterbrooke braces for busy week

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Valentine's Day is Peterbrooke Chocolatier's busiest time of the year. So they have already started whipping up the chocolate covered strawberries.

"Wednesday and Thursday are always our busiest days," said Peterbrooke's Andy Stenson, referring to Valentine's landing on Thursday this year.

Stenson suggests pre-ordering or coming in on Monday or Tuesday to avoid long lines and empty shelves.

Christmas is also one of their busiest times of the year; however, the season is spread out through December. The shorter buying time the week of Valentine's Day intensifies the customer flow.

Chocolate-covered popcorn is their best seller and comes in a variety of sizes.

Peterbrooke has a variety of chocolate options ranging from $3.50 chocolate hearts to $150 gift baskets.
