JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Next weekend forty-five teams will have just 48 hours to try and become the best "cinemaniacs" in Jacksonville.

The 48 Hour Film Project kicks off Friday, June 15, at the Jacksonville Landing. Teams will return to the Landing Sunday, June 17, to turn in their short film.

Each team draws a genre and they are given a prop, a line of dialogue and a character that must be in the film. They must write, film and edit the short within the time frame to be eligible for awards.

Fifteen films will be screeened each night at the Florida Theatre June 19 - 21.

Information about the festival is at http://www.48hourfilm.com/jacksonville/.

Tickets are available at http://floridatheatre.com/.
