Clean Water Music Fest to benefit those without
PONTE VEDRA, Fla. -- Seven bands are donating their time Saturday night in the hopes of bringing clean drinking water to those who don't have that luxury.
Jordyn Jackson and Shawn Fisher of Flagship Romance put together the fundraiser. Their initial goal was to raise $2,500. They have almost reached that goal. They are now hoping to raise $5,000 by the time the festival is over.
"Five thousand dollars is how much it costs to create a well," Shawn said. "A well can provide enough water to help 250 people have water for 20 years."
The Clean Water Music Fest is at Ponte Vedra Concert Hall Saturday from 4-10 p.m. They are asking for a $10 donation at the door.
