Hello from Chief Meteorologist Mike Buresh in the First Alert Weather Center...
As "Beryl" leaves, the First Coast will now have a more typical summertime weather pattern: high heat & humidity with scattered afternoon heavy t'storms.  Highs will be in the 90s inland...even near 90 for a time at the beaches.  Storms will sink a farther south Saturday & especially Sunday giving the area a chance to catch a break from the recent weather.  Hard to believe considering the long term drought but monthly rainfall at JIA is more than 3 times the average May.
