Cold Weekend!
Hello from Chief Meteorologist Mike Buresh in the First Alert Weather Center...
The coldest air of the winter will descend upon the First Coast this weekend. A relatively mild start to the day Saturday will gave way to afternoon clouds, a few showers & gusty northwest winds that will cause falling afternoon temps. By early Sun., lows will be in the 20s west of Highway 301....near 30 close to I-95 & the mid 30s for the intracoastal & beaches. Highs Sunday will only make it into the 50s despite sunny skies. Another cold night will follow with a frost &/or freeze area wide.
