Generally Nice Week of Weather
Hello from Chief Meteorologist Mike Buresh in the First Alert Weather Center...
The week ahead will be generally nice with onshore winds being the primary weather story. Skies will be partly sunny with highs 80-85 inland & in the upper 70s at the beaches. The breezy east/northeast winds will make for rough seas & surf & a high rip current risk that will become even stronger late in the week as "Sandy" moves east of Florida. The wind off the Atlantic will pull enough moisture ashore to produce a few showers, especially near the coast. Any rain, however, will be widely scattered & mostly light.
