Matthew Goode has landed a recurring role on The Good Wife, TVLine.com reports.
Goode, whose credits include Watchmen and Leap Year, will play a prosecutor who befriends Alicia (Julianna Margulies) following a crisis of faith which leads him to pursue a new career path. Could that path lead him to Florrick/Agos' door?
Goode is also set to star on the Pride & Prejudice spin-off, Death Comes to Pemberly, which will air on PBS next year.
Goode's first episode is slated to air in the spring. The Good Wife returns Sunday, Jan. 5 at 9/8c on CBS.
