A bathroom is an accident waiting to happen. It's the one room with water, electrical outlets and devices, slick surfaces, and stored chemicals and medicine. To combat slick surfaces, put a non-skid bathmat inside the bathtub. Put a non-skid rug on your tile floors or replace your floors with non-skid tile flooring. Label all of your chemicals and, if there are children in the house, lock the chemicals away. All medicines, including aspirin should be put out of the reach of children. Install ground fault interrupters to prevent electrical shock. They are inexpensive and could save your life.
