BRUNSWICK, Ga. -- A 15-year-old charged as an adult in the murder of a Brunswick baby made an appearance in court this morning. Dominique Lang is the younger of two teen suspects facing first degree murder charges.

Lang was in Magistrate Court in Glynn County to hear the formal charges read against him. His rights were also read to him. Lane did not enter a plea.

Another teen, 17-year-old De'Marquise Elkins is also facing first degree murder charges in the shooting death of Antonio Santiago. Elkins is scheduled to appear in court at 2 p.m.

Antonio was killed on Thursday morning at 9:15 a.m. His mother, Sherry West, says two teens were trying to rob her when they shot her in the leg, and then killed her baby.

Some media is reporting the name of the 15 year old as Lang as opposed to Lane here and elsewhere. Anyone know for sure? Thanks.

The baby mommie looked at these thugs in the face as they shot her and her baby. How much more evidence would you need if this happened to you and your baby? "Scapegoat".....NOT a chance! This is "Eye Witness" evidence!!! Stop making excuses for these low lives ~ their parents will do that and will surely say they are A students and have never been in trouble before! Make these killers responsible for their actions!!!

If proven guilty as Realchange has mentioned, these two little thugs should both be put down like the animals they surely must be but sadly due to their age, there is little to no chance they'll receive the death penalty they deserve. Then the really sad part is that all of hard working tax payers will have to pay the cost of keeping trash like this in prison for rest of what I hope will be their short life and that is something I truly despise. The families of thugs should be forced to pay the cost of keeping any repeat violent offenders in prison, then maybe the parents of these criminals would take responsibility for the actions of their kids before they ended up in prison for a third, fourth or more times.

Make sure there is enough evidence to prove they did this crime and are not scapegoats. A man few years back in decided to murder his Girlfriend in Melrose so his wife he was seperated on would not find out he had child by his girlfriend. He payed friend to help him kill her and pin it on black man and made up even artist sketch to the fact. Police caught them he eventually confessed but could you imagine if some black man had been shot by some scared person in Melrose. I detest what happened in the SUV loud music case because there is reasonable doubt there was self defense. On the same hand dont rush to convict these boys till it's proven with evidence they did the crime.

If these two teens really are the ones that did this horrific act, i can only hope the boy's in prison make them pay every day they are alive. The shooter should be put down like the dog he is, but not before the men in prison make him cry and scream like a the little bitc$ he is.
