JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Jaguars made 13 roster moves Sunday, a day after the team suffered their third preseason game loss.
Seventh-year long snapper Jeremy Cain and cornerback Jeremy Harris were among those who were let go by the team.
"This is never an easy day. Some tough decisions were made today," Jaguars General Manager David Caldwell said. "These players all came in and competed every day and we appreciate all the work they put into the building of our team. We wish them nothing but the best in the future."
Others waived from the team include guard Mark Asper, punter Ken Parrish, cornerback Lionel Smith, linebacker Maalik Bomar, linebacker Jeremiah Green, defensive end J.D. Griggs, defensive end Paul Hazel, long snapper Luke Ingram, wide receiver Jamal Miles, safety Ray Polk and offensive tackle Roderick Tomlin.
NFL teams must reduce their roster to 75 players by Tuesday.
The Jaguars will face the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday in their final preseason game.
