ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. -- An active search is underway today for a missing woman from St. Johns County.

Barbara Parchem hasn't been seen since April 5.  Investigators suspect foul play in her disappearance.

Detectives say her red 2005 Nissan Pathfinder was seen following her disappearance. It was spotted near a horse farm on CR 214 then again on CR 13.

Deputies say security cameras caught Parchem at the Race Trac gas station near SR 207 and I-95.

Today, deputies are looking in an area around East Deep Creek Boulevard and Jonathon Street in Flagler Estates.  It's a heavily wooded area.

Sgt. Catherine Payne with the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office says multiple crews are helping out with the search, including Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), the Flagler County Sheriff's Office and volunteer K-9 units.

The sheriff's office says evidence in the case led authorities to search this particular area.  Equusearch, a search and recovery team out of Texas, plans to be on site on Thursday.
