Arena team offers Tim Tebow three-year deal
LOS ANGELES -- The Arena Football League wants to give Tim Tebow a job.
The LA KISS - a new team owned by the rock band KISS - is offering Tebow a three-year deal, an AFL spokesman confirmed to Action News.
Tebow's NFL career came to a standstill when he was cut by the New England Patriots on Aug. 31.
He previously played professionally for the New York Jets and Denver Broncos, who drafted him in the first round of the 2010 NFL Draft.
Tebow won the Heisman Trophy and two national championships as quarterback for the Florida Gators.
He won a state title at Nease High School.
