Arrest made in vandalism case where Clay County detective was killed

MIDDLEBURG, Fla. -- The Clay County Sheriff's Office says they have it has made an arrest in the vandalism case that occurred at the home where Detective David White was killed in 2012.

Anthony Casanova faces vandalism charges after deputies say he painted hate messages on the boarded-up house along Alligator Boulevard. 

Det. White was shot and killed while investigating the meth house in February of last year.

Volunteers were seen Saturday repainting how the paint and repairing the damage.

Casanova was released from the Clay County Jail on a $25,000 bond.
