JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The table is set. The dishes are stacked. The food is hot and ready. Only thing different about this Thanksgiving is, well, the location.

"We’re out here camping out for Black Friday as usual,” said Anthony Rodriguez.

For the past eight years, Rodriguez, and his family and friends, have spent their Thanksgiving camped out in front of Best Buy. This year they’re first in line for the doors to open up at midnight on Black Friday.

When we asked what they do for food Rodriguez said, “We’re prepared for it. My wife brings it over, or sometimes his wife brings it over. It’s a joint effort.”

And although the location may be unique, the food is familiar - from turkey and cornbread to good ol’ mac n’ cheese.

While some might question this tradition to them it’s simple.

"We do it to save money and get the best deals and get free upgrades,” said Rodriguez.

With family and loved ones by their side, it’s enough of a reason to say thanks on this Thanksgiving as any.

"It's always fun. If it wasn't fun, we wouldn't be doing it,” said Rodriguez.

Many of these families say they’re already planning to return next year for their Best Buy Thanksgiving 2013.
