Body found, foul play suspected
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A man walking his dog Sunday night came across a body near the Emerson Inn.
Police were called to Emerson Inn at 3558 Philips Highway Sunday night in reference to a body.
The call came in from a man walking his dog. The dog began acting funny as they neared the wood line.
When they got closer to the woods the man thought he saw a body, he went back to the hotel and called police.
Police determined it was a body and that foul play is suspected.
