Boy punches grandma after she won't buy toy
DAYTON, Ohio -- A juvenile was taken into police custody after they say he punched his grandmother in the face at an Ohio department store.
Friday evening, Dayton police officers were called to Rose's Department Store in Dayton on a reported assault in progress.
On scene, Barbara Weeks, 60, told police her 11-year-old grandson hit her in the nose after she refused to buy him a toy.
A police report says a witness saw the incident and called 911.
According to investigators, the child tried to hit Weeks again but she was able to run away from him.
Weeks told officers she is afraid of her grandson.
The boy was taken to the Montgomery County Juvenile Justice Center and charged with domestic violence.
