JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A woman has been sentenced to life in prison for the armed robbery of a local CVS store.

In July 2011, Erna McFadden tried to steal items from the CVS store on San Jose Boulevard in Mandarin. As two CVS managers who were waiting at the front door attempted to stop McFadden from leaving the store, McFadden pulled a box cutter from her purse and slashed their faces.

The 34-year-old woman also received 15 years on two counts of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.

Funny that she gets the same sentencing as someone who murdered someone. Must had a bad lawyer. What is the guide lines now for parole for life 30 years? What brings to mind is how some lady gets 12 years for firing warning shot while some idiot kills a lady in cyber cafe and gets off scott free. Warning shot = 12 years. Dropping your gun in crowded public cyber cafe = free killing. Got love Jax sense of justice.
