Carnival Cruise signs contract to stay in Jax

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Cruise giant Carnival has signed on to stay in the River City.

Action News has learned Carnival signed another one year contract with Jacksonville Port Authority for the Dames Point Terminal.

That contract includes an option to extend to 2014, a revenue guarantee of $2.31 million in passenger service charges for the first year, and $2.94 million for the option year.
