JACKSONVILLE Fla.-- Cherish Perrywinkle's mother says she will go to court Thursday morning in attempt to regain custody of her two other young daughters; Neveah and Destiny.

Rayne Perrywinkle said she just wants to preserve Cherish's memory and move on with the family she has left.

"Despite the negativity I have from a lot of the public, when the truth comes out it will come out and I stand by what I believe in and I have a long battle ahead and I have to fight for Cherish and I have to fight for all the other children and Destiny and Neveah also," Rayne Perrywinkle said.

DCF removed Cherish's two younger daughters from Rayne Perrywinkle's home in July.

This woman is in dire need of training to be an effective mother. From what can be ascertained of her ability to be the care giver of kids, she is woefully inadequate. What truth is she talking about? DCF has a file on her. Cherish fell through the cracks. Her father wanted to remove her from the this woman but as we learned, with the help of some judge, Cherish ended up terrorized & murdered. What has she been doing since the funeral? What does she and the kid's father do for a living? I pray for the girls. They deserve better than what it appears this woman and their bio father has offered so far during their short lives.

I'm afraid this young mother has an awful lot of work to do in order to prove her competency.
