no pete,, didn't you read the whole article ??? it said we updated the salary to $205,000.00 so he is now underpaid by $10,000.00 & the city will need to pay him his overdue shortage in salary !!!you're a funny guy tex,, will he pay it back ??? i expect to see him on the news,, no later than this evening demanding his pay shortage,, & decrying how he has been wronged !!!

The ole "clerical error" excuse ranks right up there with the "dog ate my homework". Can we assume Mr. Carter will pay back what he was overpaid?..I know if the Government overpays you (clerical error), you darn shure have to pay them back ASAP. Nice to see the good Mayor correctd any loss of money, by Mr. Carter,by just putting him into a new position.Mr. Carter already knows that some of the best paying jobs in Jax is right there in City Hall.
