FERNANDINA BEACH, Fla. -- Crews are at the site of a train derailment Monday morning, trying to figure out how to upright the train cars.

A train from First Coast Railroad partially derailed near A1A and Sadler Road over the weekend.

The wreckage is not blocking any roads. No one was hurt.

The Nassau County Sheriff's Office said the train was headed to a nearby mill at a slow rate of speed.

They already have a crane on sight and at least 3 cars have already been lifted up and moved.

Actually, 'tellin...I have 2 family members that hit it big in the lottery. (Of course, I'm of Irish/Italian descent, so that covers a lot of territory.) Get a grip. It's only a thought/comment.

yeah me too ??? i always worry about trains leaving the tracks !!! more like why didn't i leave sooner & not have to wait for a freight ??? if that is all you have to concern yourself with lady,, you are so far out front ( no pun intended ) of the rest of society, i'ld say your odds of that occurring are 1 in 50 million !!! about the same as your buying a winning fantasy 5 ticket !!!

This has often been a fear of mine while stopped at a RR crossing. I hate being first in line while some of these freights go flying through at high speeds. Just one car slipping off and the rest would be like slinkys coming at us. Eek.
