Deputies arrest second woman on the scene where mother & daughter were run down by SUV
ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office says a woman was arrested on D.U.I. charges after driving through a crime scene where a mother and her daughter were run down by the driver of an SUV. They say the two cases are not related.
Kevin Kelshaw with the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office says Cindy Lynn Angell, 56, drove around a patrol car and deputy and into the crime scene where numerous deputies and detectives were present.
The deputies were investigating a murder and attempted murder at the Bank of America on U.S. 1 South. Investigators say a mother and her daughter had been run down by another woman driving an SUV earlier in the day.
Kelshaw says Angell's D.U.I. arrest is not connected with the attack on the two other women.
