Deadly Beach Blvd. crash sends 3 to hospital
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- One person is dead and two others are injured after a serious crash along Beach Boulevard. It happened in the St. Nicholas area, Sunday morning.
FHP says a Toyota pick-up driven by 34-year-old Joseph Farley crossed the median and struck a Chevy Impala carrying Gary Simmons Jr., 27, and Crystal Sanford, 22 of Jacksonville.
All three people in the crash were transported to Shands Jacksonville. FHP says Sanford was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Both Farley and Simmons Jr. are in serious condition.
