SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. -- Deputies say they arrested 48 people after they violated laws during the holiday.
According to the Seminole County Sheriff's Office, five people were arrested for driving on a suspended or revoked license, two were driving without their licenses, seven people were driving under the influence.
The Sheriff's Office says two people were arrested for attempting to use a counterfeit driver's license. They tried to use the license to buy thousands of dollars in iPads and cell phones from a telecommunications company.
Three men stole items such as cash, jewelry and Christmas presents from a victim's home, according to the Sheriff's Office.
The operation took about 10 days.
