ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office reports that they have developed several leads in the crash that killed 15-year-old Haley Smith in November near St. Augustine.

Smith was walking with friends in the area of Kenton Morrison Road and Four Mile Road when she was struck by an unknown vehicle.

Detectives now believe the driver who hit Smith may not have knowledge of what actually occurred.

The reward for information on the case has been upped to $6,000.

Anyone with any information concerning the vehicle is asked to call the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office at 824-8304. You can also remain anonymous and earn the cash reward by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-888-277-TIPS.

right,, and some slob of a fool is actually going to believe that bs... if they had leads, they would have someone in custody, so there are no leads !!! they're just hoping someone is stupid enough to put their neck in a noose... you couldn't have slammed her & not known,, there were a bunch of them all together that night...
