JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A Jacksonville man has been sentenced to 15 years in prison after a DUI accident that killed his friend.

Klay Andrew Williams, 22, was sentenced to the maximum of 15 years in prison Friday for the 2010 death of Mitchell Green. Williams was found guilty in January of Driving Under the Influence - manslaughter.

In November 2010, Williams, was driving his truck on Solomon Road with Green as a passenger. Williams lost control of the truck and crashed into a wooden fence. A piece of the fence plowed through the truck's windshield, striking Green in the head. Green later died from the injuries he suffered in the crash.
