Former JSO officer pleads "no contest" to prostitution charges
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- David Sumlin was back in court Friday morning where he pleaded "no contest" to two charges of soliciting prostitution.
Sumlin was arrested on November 19 and charged with two misdemeanor counts of soliciting prostitution.
At the time of his arrest he was a JSO officer and had been with the force for 8 years.
Sumlin resigned from his position after he was arrested.
Sumlin will be on probation for 4 months, serve 25 hours of community service and pay a fine of $478.00.
