Former Jaguars WR Jimmy Smith gets 6 years for gun and cocaine possession
PEARL, Miss -- Former Jaguars wide receiver Jimmy Smith has been sentenced to six years for cocaine and firearms possession.
The Madison County Sheriff's Office tells Action News Smith was jailed March 29. He was convicted on both charges in Madison County. Smith is a convicted felon. He is set to serve his time at Central Mississippi Satellite Facility in Pearl.
Smith's tentative release date is set for November 8, 2018.
