JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Police say blood found on a homeless man's clothing led to his arrest for murder.
Investigators say Charles Reeder, 40, stabbed Earl Griffin to death with a knife last month.
According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, Reeder said he was drinking with Griffin the night of the killing, but doesn't remember anything about an argument or fight that would've led to the stabbing.
Investigators say they arrested Reeder on a disorderly intoxication charge. The arresting officer noticed blood on Reeder's clothing.
DNA evidence then linked Reeder to the murder of Griffin, whose body was found behind a business on Beach Boulevard, just east of Southside Boulevard.
