CAMDEN COUNTY, Ga. -- A volunteer at a southern Georgia karate academy was arrested Thursday and charged with child molestation, according to the Camden County Sheriff's Office.

Investigators say Thomas Ary, 59, was a volunteer at Pak's Karate Academy in Kingsland, Georgia.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation tells Action News they are also investigating accusations made against a former employee of the same karate academy but stress the two investigations are not related.

Action News reached out to Pak's Karate Academy and are still waiting for a response.

At last check, Ary remains in Camden County Jail awaiting his next court hearing.
