JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is looking for the man they say robbed two Jimmy John's employees by gunpoint.

According to JSO, a man jumped a Jimmy John's employee as he took out the trash at the sub shop located at 630 Park St. around 11 p.m. Saturday. He, then forced the employee inside.

Once inside, JSO said the gunman pistol-whipped two employees, then robbed the store.

Right now, it is not known how much money the man stole from the sub shop.

Both employees are expected to be OK.

The employees most likely can't carry a firearm due to some stupid company rule. Then with that said maybe the employees should file a class action lawsuit against the company for not providing security. As for the robberies I bet I can describe the suspect, because chances are he is young, black, wearing a hoodie, with sagging pants, gold teeth and has an arrest record as long as my arm.

If this is the second time, then WHY isn't someone in there carrying a gun? Its only a matter of time before these thugs escalate to killing them for their measely couple of dollars they are after.

Do you think the geniuses over at JSO have realized that this is the second Jimmy Johns robbed in a just few weeks. Coincidence....maybe. Disgruntled ex-employee who knows the inner workings of the franchise....probably.

Folks who work in places like this do so to try and keep off the dole and support their families. It's not like it's something they AIM for. The companies who hire them should provide some type of security, as well as self-defense training. I'm glad they'll be ok. Hopefully this creep will be caught before he kills someone.
